Lift

“We make a living by what we get,
but we make a life by what we give.”
Winston Churchill

“He is not great who is not greatly good.”
William Shakespeare

“For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10 KJV

The Apostle Paul said those last words to the Ephesians, but they were intended for us as well.  We are created by a great God to do great works.  He invites us to use this life to look out for one another – to serve.

I saw the most honest and inspiring example of this on a video message. Had to share it with you. It’s called Lift.

Is there some small act you could contribute to help someone else?  Do you see a need?
We are created by a great God to do great works.  So, turn outward.  Lift a burden.  And, who knows, the great work we discover may be that our own burdens are lifted.

“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”
Matthew 16:25

They are starting to put ads on our blog. We do not approve these and are not getting any residuals whatsoever, so I apologize for the content. I’ll see what I can do about it.
